Indescribable: 2008

2nd day of sem 4 ah.....

2nd day of sem 4= 31st day new year eve= 9.00 a.m pharmaceutics III practical= capsule filling.
So on 2nd day of sem 4 we basically get to taste what's ahead of us in this future of semester 4...we get to stay in uni from 9.00 a.m to 6.15 p.m......"very nice"

As I mentioned before hand we did our very first practical of sem 4 which is capsule filling. It's kind of fun actually cause we see how it is made and such. But sadly we need to wait as imu has only one machine so we are divided into four groups. And every group didnt want to be the last group so the lecturer decided to just draw out id card from each representatives of the group to determine the order. And..... I was so "lucky" er to be exact my id was the so "lucky" that I was the fourth group means the last one. Being the last means we have to wait for quite long we as in me, Michelle, Stacie and Melissa started out very own mini adventure (impromptu). At first we didnt know what to do...as we passed the student lounge, Mich and Melissa said they wanted to play pool......

sayonara kuching anyeong kl

Well I'm back in KL....feeling a bit weird since I have been idle at Kuching for almost two months. Back here seems that I need to bear more responsibilities and I felt that everyday here is like unwrapping small gifts filled with surprises. You wont know what to expect. Sigh...hope I wont get home sick too soon....

winter wonderland

Kuching has become increasingly cold for the past few days even during day time due to almost continuous rainfall. I think it is preparing itself for the coming Christmas. I told my sis that if this continues on for a week then we will have white christmas! Maybe it even snows.....

Kah Yee is indescribable happy, joyful, relieved....any positive feelings you can think of!!

Phew~ Finally can breathe a sigh of relief...Make me very kan cheong and nervous yesterday when I painstakingly waited till 3 p.m for my result. Then exactly at 3 p.m I tried to log into imu website but there was no result there so I panicking already. Why? Why no result? Then I asked Yen Nee whether has she checked her result. She told me received an email already. And I havent! This makes me more nervous then ever. Then I waited...and waited till 3.15 p.m then I received! My hand was shaky when I click on the mail and then read it and then saw the word passed!!! I was so so so happy! I defeated Sem 3!!! Sem 4 here I come!!!! Now I can truly enjoy my holiday!!

There but not There yet

There but not there yet?? I'm 20 already! Can consider an adult but still not legally coz mommy said only 21 can legally sign contract and all those important documents wo~~~ So I'm there already (adult) but not there yet (not yet legal adult) lol....

29th november 2008, a sunny day but a dull one. So here I am woke up late so just lying down at the sofa watching Denise Richards it's complicated with no foreboding signs of the day ahead of me. And then suddenly "honk honk" a pos laju car outside my house but being the lazy one I continue on watching and my sis went out and greet the pos laju guy. I thought he was sending some document for my mom or dad. Usually official letters we receive through pos laju. So anyway suddenly my sis rush in and ask me to write down my IC and sign and I was thinking me? She said it's a package from Yen Nee. I immediately was suprised that Yen Nee send something to me, feeling very excited. Like a child, I gleefully open the brown packaging very carefully but then seen that it's folded a lot of time I become a bit "cou lou" then I saw a wonderful photo album with a cd there. I knew that it would not be an ordinary photo album who's the sender? Yen Nee mah. So I open it. When the first page came to view my heart burst with happiness!!! So touching every page filled with photos and birthday notes from some B107 friends. Want to cry de that moment. Wah~~~~ I showed to my mom, my sis, my dad, my mom's fren everyone la practically and they were like "you got good friends." Hehe..... THANK YOU SO MUCH YEN NEEEEEE>>>>>>EVEEEEE>>>>>PEGGGGYYYY!!!!!

it's over it's over eos sem 3 is over

Being in semester 3 particularly BPharm of IMU sem 3 is something I never thought I would be in. I'm constantly in a roller coaster mode starting from the very early week of sem 3. I remembered it was kind of okay initially but then it grew worse as the semester progresses, portfolio, class tests, lab reports and lab session after lab session came crashing into my schedule. The most stressful lab sessions are those associated with Extempo Dispensing never in my life I have to rush rush rush to finish my product, complete my worksheet and clean up all the apparatus used in just 3 hours. Week 11 and 12 were the climax for me (Renal and Pharmaceutics class tests on the same week). Plus I was sick for two weeks, disease after disease dont know whether it's because of Microb practical or not. Then week 14 came, the last week of sem 3 thought I can at least relax a bit. But then noooo....I need to study for 3 weeks every day every waking hours for my exam. Exam time was the most stressful time of my life, you probably know by reading my previous entry "study until want to vomit". Seriously everyday wake up early and sleep late. Really beh tong and very chiak lak. So when pharm analysis exam was over today I was so happy! Elated!!! I feel like the burden on me was lifted. I'm free!!!

Today right after exam ended we went to Sunway!! It was sort of like a tradition for us to go somewhere after exam ends.

Can you guess where were we first? It's J.CO! Miss Yen Nee was feeling hungry due to stressful Pharmanalysis. Actually it looks like someplace romantic right?

Then I ordered J.CO super nice green tea ice blended but then got stolen by this ah moi. You can see that she totally enjoys it.

Now it's my turn to savour it. Me and Yen Nee drinking green tea how about those two?

Ta -da! What do you eat when you are in J.CO? Donuts!

I always know that when I need help I can always call Yen Nee!! Then you sure come up with a plan lol. Thanks for enduring with my "bad" moods during EOS.

Thanks for being so blur and funny. Really brighten my day especially today (couldnt get any "colder" today---> Especially when you said this chili is actually not that spicy and Eve was like saying if it is not spicy then it's not chili). And have to thank you thank you so much! Without you refreshing my mind before every exam I would probably die in there.

Another ah moi! Thanks for being so supportive throughout this sem. Thanks for asking whether I have food to eat or not and I dont have any you would volunteer to bring me bread. Those small things really meant a lot. And you are my prayer buddy too! So you are helping me to develop that spiritual part of me and constantly being there to remind me that God is always there and always forever love me ;)

On Tuesday 18 Nov 2008, I ended my day with a special suprise from Miss Eve.

A really beautiful and sweet bear in a globe! There are a lot of these tiny shiny papers in it dont know how to describe. When you shake the globe it will float around giving you the impression of its snowing. So nice!!! Thanks Eve! Love it so much!

Till then some other day when my blogging mood strikes again, I shall retreat to my comfortable bed cos the lack of sleep is getting me and I need to wake up at 5 a.m to get ready for my ride to Kuching! No one in Kuching knows I'm coming back except for my sis and of cos my dog lol so it's going to be a big suprise once I'm there. Nite!

only day two of EOS and I feel like vomitting..... and I have FIVE more torturing days to go. The worst has yet to come....

Nothing better than have a sunny day to study! Time is ticking so near and I have lots lots of things not yet cover and the subject of microbes has NUMEROUS "BEAUTIFUL" name of organisms which is HARD to pronounce and even HARDER to remember. I salute those who think of a name for these organisms! Bravo! Have to rush through things now like LRT hmmm maybe bullet train is faster???

I'm back to my lovely nest, spirit renewed, strength restored to 100%, happiness level overshoot 100% but study level underperformed.... sigh sigh sigh...there's gain and loss...

what a grand finale!

I highly regard week 14 of sem 3 the grand finale, pinnacle of all. Why? Cos three words. Extemporaneous dispensing exam which comprises 70%. Dead or alive, advance or fail depends on merely these 3 hours calculating, filling in the details and making your 3 products. Oh why why they want to put liquid paraffin emulsion? Takes so much time. I didnt get to finish my worksheet and I have to literally scribble everything. I dont know the evaluator can read my handwriting or not. My label also simply write. Here I used almost 99% of my glycogen to supply me all the energy to stir the solution and most of the energy used to make the infamous emulsion (until I broke yet another glass rod). Sigh..... Anyway on week 13, we had this impromptu outing to Sunway thanks to Miss Eve very spontaneous decision. We had so much fun but didnt have time to finish walking around. We spend a lot a lot time in some shop first time I did this lol. Here's a sneak preview of what happened that day
