hello...hello....hello

I'm in a blogging mood right now so decided to just dropby to write what I went through for this week. There's drug metabolism class test on monday which consume a lot a lot of glucose in my body way too many until I felt hungry right after it ended. And of yea before that I had the most difficult, longest and tiring PBL ever. I didnt talk much except when it's my turn to present. My mind was filled with drug meta and I have to admit I did not prepare at all for PBL so when the faci asked questions I just stay silent and let my group mates answer. Thank God I have them!! Thank you PBL 27 group mates! lol....
The climax of the week was my extemporanous dispensing practical sessions. The first one I had was powder making. Powder making is fun and easy! I enjoyed folding the papers for packaging it reminded of art classes. But I made a lot of mistakes during solution making practical. The first product was a potassium citrate mixture whereby you need to use DS Chloroform water but instead I used Chloroform Spirit no wonder I have two layers in my solution! And I spent around half an hour just to get it dissolve when it will not be. I wasted a lot of time. This is the first step of my misery cause every product I did next there's bound to have a mistake!! It makes me so blur that I was seriously panicking coz first I havent finish my product, second, I havent complete my report and third I havent wash all my measuring cylinders etc.....
Just when I thought that nothing any more worse could happen to me, the cone shaped cylinder broke...... Yea it broke. For the first time on 21 August 2008, Lum Kah Yee broke something in the lab. It just happened, probably I was so desperate for my sodium bicarbonate to dissolve I use too much force in stirring it....sigh..... When everything ended I was so dead exhausted.....
Wednesday was not the only day my stress level rocketed up, thursday was the same too except it wasnt in the lab it was in elab. In the timetable it says that Pharmaceutical Analysis workshop but it's just not what it seems. It was actually a test which consists of 10% so it is understandable that everyone is in a stress mode but I manage to pull through lol....but still stresful.
Friday another long day with classes typically in the morning and pharmaceutics lab in the afternoon. It ended around 5.30 p.m and since it was raining I asked my auntie to pick me up coz she's on her way to send me to her house for the weekends. Together with her was one of my relative from Gopeng I call her Mu Mu I dont know why Mu Mu and what does it mean though.... We went to eat Puchong's famous curry fish head at a restaurant in which I have no idea what name (I dunno how to read chinese) except the fact that next to it is a badminton court. At then I reach home at 8 p.m feeling tired and sticky.....

And today I'm going again to Puchong in search of food with my family...
And tomorrow I'm going to midvalley to fulfill one my wish that is to watch Wall-E with Yen Nee and Eve!!! Can't wait!!

Top 3 wishlist of the month

First and foremost I want to have maximum of hours of sleep with no worries of bpharm workload be it report, portfolio and PBL and class tests. But since this week marks the beginning of the most tiring/tortorous/busy period ever, I doubt I can get the quality sleep that I want.....

Next up, feel like going out with my friends for a movie or a shopping spree with them. It's been ages since we had one. I want to watch Wall-E (I'm definetely a Disney fan)

Last one,

I know this is random but I want to go to Pavilion!! Believe it or not, from the day Pavilion opens till now I have never set a foot at this place. So I vow that I must visit this place eventhough all the things on sell here are for the high class people. Maybe I can get some great deal since it's megasale? No harm in dreaming right......

Now I'm off to sleep now! Adios....

Earth shaking night

On 3th August 2008 , people from all walk of lives gather at sunway convention centre to attend a concert known as Passion concert. We (me, eve, janning, pang tsen, joni, her sis and her fren) arrived in sunway around 4 something and when I saw such a huge crowd I was feeling the excitement already. I got the special privilege of entering the hall first hehe.... but it wasnt that special in a way it was kind of bored in there and it's super cold! The way they set up the whole place was awesome!! I think around 5.30 p.m the volunteers for this Passion event open the door to let streams of people to come in. What I saw was everyone was rushing in like all those people you see trying to grab something during sales before it all went out. I can understand why they did that coz it's free seating and everyone wants to get a view. The concert starts with the opening of Chris Tomlin!! His voice is super duper nice!! We sang together with Chris Tomlin and we listened to Louie Giglio speech. Perhaps the climax of the night would be the story of Ashley and her fren Krista whom she refers as fruit cake. Allison's story prove how amazing one's life can be and I learn that my own problem is not as uncommon as I used to think and somehow, somewhere and someone has the exactly the same problem I do. So look at a bigger picture rather than focusing on the near ones! All in all I had a wonderful night and looking forward to another Passion concert if there is one in the future. Here's some of the pictures Eve took, copyright under her name lol
