On Thursday, 4th September 2008 three commonly known as yellow rangers were stranded in IMU due to bad weather and they had nothing better to do than to hang out in the "hidden" hallway next to MDL 5 & 6. And because it was such an emo day with raindrops falling from the cloudy, dark sky they decided to take emo pictures.
Two of them tried to pak tou
No la actually ding hor fun afraid of heights lol.....
Feeling super emo
I like the previous picture more...thanks Evie
Secretly trying to ask God to stop the rain
.......actually trying to draw something on the mist produced by my breath
We waited till 5.30 p.m but the rain still continue on so we decided to take a "romantic" walk under the rain but we only had one umbrella (Evie's) so what did we do? The funny one miss ding hor fun decided to wear my lab coat as a rain coat and sacrifice herself to help us take the umbrella to shield miss eve and me *sorry no picture available* hehe....
On Friday, Lum Mee suddenly got sick not really suddenly the signs and symptoms were there on Thursday, keep on coughing and throat feel itchy and a bit feverish on Thursday night. Woke up the next day feeling lethargic, malaise and pain in the throat. But then must attend classes due to PBL. Feel really grateful my auntie came back early from Johor to send me to the clinic and the doctor prescribed very "keng" one drugs. First this lady doctor did the routine check of my temperature and it was quite high 38.9 degree celcius (that's why I was feeling very hot on my face) and then check my BP. Asked a few questions like which uni I come from then when told her I'm from IMU and studying pharmacy she gave me the approved look lol. Very friendly one doctor. Then she checked my tonsil or pharynx and said it was red and swollen (with a kesian look on her face) this doctor is full of expressions lol.
First up, combination of purple and white antibiotics for my throat infection.
Cefadroxil 500mg (first generation cephalosporin) used to treat tonsilitis/pharyngitis
caused by streptococcus pyogenes ;can also be used to treat MRSA (Methicilin resistant staphylococcus aereus)
Next, for my fever diclofenac sodium 50 mg. Diclofenac sodium-NSAIDs used to alleviate pain.
I dont know why though NSAIDs is use to treat fever?? Maybe want to relieve the pain in my throat.......
Then for my dry cough....name unknown I only knows it's a white small pill.
After a few hours of sleep with these keng one drugs absorbed into my systemic circulation I feel much more better but still a bit blur when I woke up and my appetite came back lol. Thank you miss ding hor fun and miss chen tom yam for worrying about me and pai seh because of me being sick we all didnt get to go watch Money No Enough 2 tomorrow. And special thanks to ding hor fun who gave me honey to eat and make nutritious drink for me ;)
